Are Feds targeting Latinos ( Mexican-Americans) ? LOS ANGELES,CA — More than sixty-nine members of the Mongols, a motorcycle Club formed by Mexican Americans in Montebello (Los Angeles) in the 70's, Were arrested last October 2008 following a three-year undercover investigation that spanned seven states and “dealt a massive blow” to the organization, one official X said. The arrestsees are among 79 people named in an 86-count federal racketeering indictment that alleges the Mongols organization was involved in a wide range of criminal activity, The organization of the Mongols MC gang “from top to bottom has been charged and targeted,” said an employee of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Among those taken into custody were former Mongols National President: "Ruben “Doc” Cavazos", along with several chapter presidents and various officials of local chapters in conjunction with 162 search warrants executed in California, Nevada, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Illinois and Ohio. If I do a search in the TESS for a typed drawing (basically a word/title) is that it?
AFter I've looked on TESS and nothing turns up with the name I want or partially, does that mean I'm safe to apply for my trademark (title-word drawing). I'm trying to start a clothing line. And I know they said something like "Tommy Hilfiger" or "Phat Farm" are typed "drawings" so I couldn't use them. I have a typed drawing that didn't pop up on any of the 4 searches on the TESS. The Wright story was not out when he was getting votes from whites due to his "unity" message. It falls flat now. As I said before, I think he loses that Wright issue any way you slice it. Either he didn't think his church was controversial or he didn't know. Which is it? Supporting someone who you say is your "mentor" who says "appalling" things with thousands of dollars is worse than saying them yourself. At least the pastor is being honest. I am looking to starting a clothing company, but I am not willing to just handout money to any open hand. As far as right now all I have are some really good designs and the name/logo. I have spoken to a few trademark attorneys and have got quotes $1,400-$2,200 which does NOT include $340 just to search. That is a fee I have to pay even if the search returns an occupied name. So is there anyway around this search. I am aware of the TESS search but was told its not detailed enough. I am worried to put out all this money and all I have is ideas. Ill still need to find the equipment and materials to bring these ideas to life. So If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. I am pretty confident that many people will like these designs, just need help getting there. Hello, I want to open a store in South Carolina called "Baby Buzz". I did a search for the name at the SC Secretary of State website and there is no business with that name. But I did a trademark search on the Federal Government website, http://www.uspto.gov, and I fould that Baby Bliss already exists in the results.
