What would you recommend, i have pretty brittle/damaged and dry hair. I use products from brands like Matrix, Pureology, Paul Mitchell, CHI, FHI. Nothing seems to work for me, sometimes its soft but my hair has a lot of broken ends and they seem to stick up and make my hair frizzy, also what kind of leave in conditioners/treatments are good? Hey guys! I had a quick question about which brand of hair straightener I should get... My aunt is a hairdresser, so she gets discounts on hair products/tools. Open Question: Best solutions to adult acne?

i've had acne through adolesence and now into my twenties. it seems to come and go from time to time. i've noticed in the summer it clears up quite a bit, but never disappears completely. i'm now 26 and its time to get rid of it. people always used to say - it will clear up by your early twenties, but it never has. i've tried almost everything; eating certain foods, not eating certain foods (chocolate, cheese - all myths by the way!!), drinking lots of water, not drinking certain drinks (coca-cola). i've washed daily with just warm water, soap, shower gel. i've used clearasil and numerous other similar branded products - nothing works!! tried using cremes (the last one i used contained hydrocritisine {i think this was the spelling!} which is usually used for rashes!!) surely there is something that will clear it up?? we can put man on the moon and make planes that weigh 100's of tonnes fly through the air - surely there is a tried and tested product to get rid of adult acne? i havent been back to my GP for years (please don't just answer saying - "go to your doctor" or a dermatologist). Please - someone give me something to try........ natural or man-made. Thanks more

OK so I am willing to save up for a second acoustic guitar, although dont know what to get... our local store carries a brand named SEAGULL GUITARS, and online I would be able to get a taylor, our store doesnt carry Taylors:( I have never played a Taylor but I have heard so many good things about them. Hi, i really wanted a light coverage for my skin i have oily and dry. so i went to ultra makeup store and i had gotten a cleanser for my skin 1st Studio Gear http://www.studiogearcosmetics.com/product.php?code=60105 and a plain moisturizer. Then the lady put on a primer http://www.studiogearcosmetics.com/product.php?code=49101 she put on a tinted moisturizer as the foundation http://www.studiogearcosmetics.com/product.php?code=47101 and i loved the way my skin looked and felt, i usually break out if i put anything on my face and i didn't with this brand name. light is my color. but i just want to know, i wash my face then moisturizer then a primer then a tinted moisturizer? do i need all of that? i really want it to last almost all day and i do touch my face a lot. it felt light bcuz she didnt put a lot on. is this brand good for the skin? i wont break out even more? i hate the feeling of a lot of makeup on, i already use eye makeup, do you think it will be 2 much if i use this foundation and eye makeup? Also do i really need the primer? is just washing my face, which hazel( to get rid of the oil spots and help even out skin tone), the moisturizer then the tinted moisturizer ok? im not going to put a lot on, so do you think it will still last most of the day? Open Question: HELP ME BUY A CAMCORDER...Internal Flash Memory, Internal Flash Drive, Hard Drive, Flash Drive...what it means?

I need help buying a camcorder. Money is not an issue. (under $2,000 i guess)...one of the compact consumer ones, not the big professional ones. What I am looking for in a camera -EXCELLENT QUALITY is NUMBER ONE! -lots of recording time (at LEAST 3-4 hours because I will sacrifice recording time for quality) -Being able to upload and edit on the computer (i know the mini HD DVD casette things are best for this, but I am not necessarily interested in that but am open to it, or at least a hybrid) -decent handy features on the camera (not a must) -cool features on the camera (not a must) -i want to film all kinds of things. kids and pets, vacations, sceneries, piano recitals, martial arts tournaments, night scenes, anything imaginable that would be the best quality on a non-professional camcorder. Open Question: I need help with concealer! Can you help? Any ideas as to what is a good concealer?

I want to buy a dept. store concealer so I can get my exact shade (drugstore products are only a couple dollars less these days) I'm kind of reluctant to fork out 15.00 for a tube of MAC or clinique or bobbi brown though because my skin tone changes a lot. I've thought about that concealer that changes to you shade, but I've heard a lot of bad reviews about the Almay smart shade concealer and that it's bogus, and i really don't want to buy that. Also, do you think I should go with a cream or liquid concealer? I don't wear foundation, just concealer because I am young and don't want to look over-done. Is it worth it to gat a 15.00 concealer even though it may only last a couple of months? Is there a cheaper alternative? What are some good drugstore brands? more

Open Question: Help I dyed my hair brown, it looks black. How do i lighten it without dying it again?

I saw a long time ago a product in a magazine that lightens hair dye. I forgot what it's called. My Friend dyed her hair black and she hated it and i told her about the product i saw in the magazine. She found it at Walgreen's and it worked awesome. It made her black hair this chocolate shade of brown. Any ideas of what this product is called? My natural color of hair is blond. I have been dying my hair a brown with a tint of red in it for about a year now. Well every time i would dye it my hair would become less and less brown and more and more red. So i dyed it this chocolate brown. Same brand of hair dye just different color. I left it in for about 30 minutes rinsed it out and my hair is black. I blowed dryed it and it's still black. So i am looking either for that product i was talking about or something else. Any ideas?The stuff i was talking about was called color oops. okay, so my hair is naturally kind of mousey brown, but i like it a more chestnut colour just to add some depth. so the other week i was doing my hair again, same shade, same brand and when i wash it out it's dark. and i mean reallllly dark, like near enough black! so i thought, okay it'll fade soon enough, but its been weeks now and its still not faded! I've had black hair in the past, and it was very damaging to my hair, not to mention quite expensive to get it stripped out with bleach, so i don't want to be doing that again. I've heard that there's shampoos that are stronger than usual ones, that can strip the colour out, does anyone know of any? Open Question: Will this Motherboard fit in this case?

It's a mini atx or something like that. the brand is not wat im concerned with ..its the back of the motherbard part i am talken about, the input area. The panal sheild i think is non removable on the dell cases and the motherboard panal itself is small and was wondering if it would even fit in this case. Resolved Question: Poll for Ford fans only?

(FOR FORD FANS) Do any of you fellow fans of Ford Motors approve of putting 5.0 liter Ford engines (or really any other Ford engine) and other Ford mechanical parts into cars of other brands (mainly meaning foreign vehicles)? I am a huge fan of Ford, and I wouldn't willingly drive a GM product, or a Japanese vehicle, for fun, anyway; but I do think some of those Japanese imports look pretty cool (examples: Mitsubishi Eclipse, Nissan Skyline GT-R, Toyota Supra, etc.), but they all lack the power and other performances found in Ford vehicles. I wouldn't even consider swaping out the mehcanicals in a Jap for good Ford parts and driving it around unless fellow Ford fans aproved, I'm just the kind of person to take approval from those of my kind before doing something along those lines. If I were to do an "opperation" like this on a Jap, it would have to be a sporty vehicle, and I would definately remove the badges to save confusion or personal embarasment. When people would see the car without badges, they'd go without knowing or ask, and I would tell them what powers it, but again, not without Ford fans' approval. What I was thinking was like 5.0 H.O., or maybe an Edelbrock crate engine (their new 347 C.I.D. Ford small block [EFI verison, highest available HP]), a 6-speed Ford GT tranny, Mustang Fox Body rear diff. with detroit locker setup added, twin Vortech V-24 centrifugal blowers (32 psi each), veilside body kit, GReddy intercooler, iron cylinder sleeves, K&N air filter, "Clevor" heads from Edelbrock (Cleveland heads to fit a Windsor), a Lunati 51014LUN street/strip camshaft, and at least 75 smaller mods to the overall vehicle (all undecided), and at least 65 other mods to the engine. First I just want to ask if these component cables are good enough, I just purchased them a few min ago: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=140300774053 I'm not too familiar with quality of cables, such as if any cable regardless of the brand will produce the same results. As for the remote charger, I've read a few forums and blogs saying that the best way to go is buy normal battery chargers because you can use the batteries for other products and from my perspective it looks faster. I know there are 15 min chargers and people have claimed that their wii remote chargers take about an hour? So, assuming that your normal battery chargers are the best method, what brand(and type) should I buy and why. Also I'm not too familiar with recharable batteries, but what do you guys think of this one: http://www.eneloop.info/ One thing I can't find are charts or data that show a comparison between the conditional wii mote chargers vs standard battery chargers. Well if standards charge faster, why dont people just buy those instead? more

Will the package say what percentage? I want to buy some min. makeup because i have rosacea and i tried my friends maybelline and it felt so nice on my skin.....however, I've heard maybelline products barely have any minerals.......I need something I can find at WALGREENS OR RITEAID OR WALMART though...with the economy the way it is Im still on a slight budget....Im looking for a brand that has powder and liquid... my plan is to buy a tinted moisturizer and then apply the powder on days i just need a little, and use a regular moisturizer/sunblock mix with the liquid and maybe powder together for nights out on the town or days im having a bad rosacea day. Open Question: Good Acne Products in Canada?

Hi, I haven't bought myself any new products to treat acne in a really long time (simply because the products I bought came in large portions and I still haven't finished them yet), and I can tell that they aren't very effective anymore. For a bit of info on my skin: - I only really break out whenever my period approaches. - My skin is dry and it shines easily. - Whatever skin regimen I have is very disorganized. In the past I have bought a Proactiv kit, Dermalogica kit, and a Philosophy kit, and now in this present day I use whatever's still left from them. And the worst part about this is that I don't have clear skin! :( And also, I am not concerned with the price I must pay. It's a mini atx or something like that. the brand is not wat im concerned with ..its the back of the motherbard part i am talken about, the input area. The panal sheild i think is non removable on the dell cases and the motherboard panal itself is small and was wondering if it would even fit in this case. Like is the back panel and panel shield thing to small for the case??? Thanks for the help P.S. : and if im out of luck is it not a smart idea to put a mobo in a case without a panel sheild. Open Question: Akai LCD flat panel tv won't turn on. What to do?

I've had my tv off for 4 hours, and when I went to turn it back on... nothing. The red standby light is on, but when I push the power button on the tv... nothing. The red light turns off, and I guess it is trying to turn on, but it doesn't and the red light comes back on. I've tried unplugging it, but that doesn't help. I've researched it online, and apparently it is a very common problem with Akais. That is why several stores have stopped carrying the Akai brand. People say that the power supply circuit board is the problem. They say three of the caps on the circuit board need to be replaced. The makers put 10V caps on 12V lines so they overheat and pop. I'm supposed to be able to open the back of the tv and remove the power supply board, and then replace the 10V caps with higher V ones (25V or so). The only thing is... I have no idea how to do any of that. There are no videos showing you how to do that on youtube or anything. I don't know how to sauder the new caps on or whatever. Can I just take the power circuit board out and take it up to a tv repair shop to have them replace the caps for me? Would that be expensive... I mean, I've diagnosed and removed the problem myself. I'll even go purchase the new caps myself if I have to. All they have to do is remove the old ones and sauder the new ones on. How much do you think they'll charge me if they will even do it at all? Please give professional answers, preferrably from actual repairmen or similar experiences. Also, my tv is almost two years old, and the warranty has expired. So, I can't have it fixed under warranty by the manufacturer. Not to mention, this is an Akai product!!! Akai does not answer your phone calls or emails when you inquire about product faults. They pass you around to different people and then tell you they don't make the circuit boards anymore. Which, I know is against the law (7 years minimum before able to discontinue), but what can I do? I know THEY won't repair my tv. This is once again why most stores refuse to carry their brand anymore. BTW, I bought it at RadioShack who doesn't carry, service, or even provide manufacturer information for Akai anymore. So, RadioShack was no help either. Especially since the warranty is up.... no one will help me and so I have to help myself (which I fully understand). more
